oh lucky day!!!

I found FOURTEEN FOUR-LEAFED CLOVERS today. One might believe this a lucky day, right? Well, to be honest, the last month has been rather lucky. Some things have sorted themselves out, and we are on the road to a brand new string of adventures as a family. It seems that “living right”… as my Mama called it… is finally showing a few benefits. Just had to share this with y’all. Oh, and just so you know… the whole finding 4-leafed clovers thing…it’s not new…been doing it since I was six. But it was new for E and T. Must be in the genes….Enjoy 🙂

crack in a can

For the past 14 years, I have been “importing” a highly addictive soft drink called SUNDROP from my home in Alabama. And by importing, I mean, begging my family to mail me cases, or driving across the country and bringing them back. Why, you ask? Because it was only sold in select parts of the southeastern United States, and it’s NECTAR FROM THE GODS and it pairs quite well with another old friend, Jack Daniels!!! My hometown just happened to be lucky, and my addiction began when I was in high school. Don’t laugh, it wasn’t THAT long ago, and mine isn’t nearly as bad as my sisters’!!!

Anyway, ladies and gentlemen……I am pleased to announce that it’s gone nationwide through Wal-Mart, and I bought my very first 2 liter yesterday, up the road from my house here in Cali!!! Just when I thought I might be able to kick my Mountain Dew (which pales in comparison, btw) habit, my prayers got answered!

Check. It. Out.

Diamonds, rubies, pearls, and….chocolate? Part 2.

The air date is upon us!!! Tune into The Food Network on Tuesday, November 16, 2010….that is NEXT TUESDAY….to see the episode of “Private Chefs of Beverly Hills” I happened to have the pleasure of being a guest on 🙂 Click here for the episode info. See, I told you I would keep you posted. Now you can consider yourself  ”in the know”!

Night, night….sleep tight!!

Just thought I would share one of my new favorite things: SUPER SOFT TRAVEL PILLOWS!! My ridiculously talented and creative niece, Brittney, crafts them. They come in a wide variety of colors and prints for both boys and girls (or grown men & women…lol). The best part is, they can be custom monogrammed with a name across the end. The possibilities are endless….and they are affordable too!

Oh, and they make fantastic gifts as well. In fact, we are off to a birthday party, and the birthday girl is getting her very own 🙂 If you would like info on how to get yours, contact Brittney via email at dunnbritt@yahoo.com.
